This Christmas with The Wardrobe Theatre and Front Room Theatre: A brand new belly-laughing, belly-dancing, mash-up musical comedy with big Dickens energy!

Glitz! Showgirls! A giant, gaudy elephant! This flamboyant nightclub-cum-bordello writhing with tassels, tits and tuberculosis is the number one pleasure-spot where every vivacious Victorian with a taste for the unrestrained wants to be this Christmas Eve. Everyone, that is, except stuffy old Ebby Scrooge – a greedy, hateful miser who detests merriment. But when some spooky ghosts push his buttons, can-can Scrooge find love and learn the true meaning of a jolly winter festival before his soul is doomed forever?

This Christmas, The Wardrobe Theatre (makers of Notting Hell, The Good, The Bad & The Coyote Ugly, MDH: Puppets Do A Movie and many more) and Front Room Theatre (Weston-super-Mare’s award-winning fringe venue in their 4th year of producing their own hugely popular original comedy Christmas shows) have joined forces to present a brand new mash-up musical to put the hum in your humbug. Moulin Scrooge is a fast, smart and adult-only new comedy that promises to be your best Christmas show night out – past, present or yet to come!

Moulin Scrooge is the latest production from The Wardrobe Theatre, the team that brought you Notting Hell: The Greatest Love Story In The Underworld, The Good, The Bad & The Coyote Ugly, MDH: Puppets Do A Movie, Little Women In Black, Drac & Jill, Reservoir Mogs, Rocky Shock Horror, Oedipuss In Boots and Goldilock, Stock & Three Smoking Bears. This year we have joined forces with Weston-super-Mare’s exciting, award-winning new fringe and community venue, Front Room Theatre, to bring you our biggest and best show yet! Moulin Scrooge will debut at The Wardrobe Theatre for Christmas 2025 and be staged at Front Room Theatre in Weston-super-Mare for Christmas 2026.
