CASTING CALL-OUT – Notting Hell: The Greatest Love Story In The Underworld by The Wardrobe Theatre

Performances: 14th July – 8th August 2026 at The Wardrobe Theatre, Bristol
Fee: £631/week – 6 weeks
Roles we are seeking:
Lexi Chase
(Female, 20s/30s)
Lexi Chase is a mega-famous, irresistibly charismatic pop superstar with a powerhouse singing voice and a magnetic, seductive presence. However, she harbours a dark secret; she used to be a major dweeb before she accidentally made a deal with the devil. Performer must have excellent comic timing and strong acting range – able to shift between high-status confidence and low-status silliness with ease.
Requirements: exceptional singer; must be confident with improvised singing.
Must have a local base.
Prick/Multi-Roler
(Male, any age)
Prick is the protagonist’s extremely unhygienic but loyal housemate. He means well but is generally quite disgusting and gets himself into terrible messes by being too trusting towards devilish entities. Performer should be a versatile comedic character actor with strong improvisation skills.
Ability to play multiple roles is essential; accents and strong physical comedy are highly desirable.
Must have a local base.
