Following hot on the heels of recent smash-hits Notting Hell: The Greatest Love Story In The Underworld, The Good, The Bad & The Coyote Ugly, and MDH: Puppets Do A Movie, this Christmas The Wardrobe Theatre returns with a brand new mash-up comedy musical, Moulin Scrooge! This year’s show is a co-production with Weston-super-Mare’s brilliant fringe space, Front Room Theatre, and we’re delighted the cast and creative team are made up of creatives from both venues and from across the region.

Moulin Scrooge will be directed by co-Creative Director of Front Room Theatre, Adam Fuller, returning after directing past Wardrobe Theatre Christmas shows Goldilock Stock & Three Smoking Bears and Reservoir Mogs. Joining him from Front Room Theatre will be co-Creative Director Emma Keaveney-Roys in the cast (for her 5th Wardrobe Theatre Christmas show), Front Room Producer Jess Hicks as Associate Director, and Front Room Associate Artist, Jordan Cottle, as Musical Director. They will be joined in the cast by Peter Baker (Goldilock Stock & Three Smoking Bears, Only Fools & Horses: The Musical, Murder She Didn’t Write), Kim Heron (Rocky Shock Horror) and Alice Lamb (Drac & Jill, Goldilock Stock & Three Smoking Bears). Other creatives include Ruby Brown as Designer, Laura Street as Movement Director, Gemma Smith as Stage Manager, Alice Massey as Producer and The Wardrobe Theatre’s Artistic Director & CEO, Matthew Whittle, returning as Dramaturg.
With this fantastic team of Bristol and Weston-super-Mare creatives, Moulin Scrooge promises a spectacular blend of whip-smart comedy, glittering cabaret, and festive filth. Expect high kicks, low morals, and enough heart to thaw even the chilliest Scrooge.
