The Wardrobe Theatre presents a fast, smart, lo-fi action thriller parody bursting with big belly laughs, plastic machine-guns and a glamorous talking pig – from the makers of Drac & Jill, Oedipuss In Boots and many more!
Yippee Ki-Yay! It’s Christmas Eve an high above the streets an exceptional German terrorist and his mob of terrifying furry accomplices have seized control of a 35-story skyscraper and are holding everyone inside hostage. As this villainous master-criminal carries out his murderous plan of deceit, there’s one thing he didn’t count on – a mysterious party crasher, a fly in the ointment, a monkey on the drumkit, a pain in the ass – a grizzled, street-wise New York cop who’s extremely hard to die. Can this barefoot vigilante battle against the odds to defeat evil and single-handedly save Christmas?
The Wardrobe Theatre are thrilled to resurrect one of our favourite and most popular shows. MDH: Puppets Do A Movie is an anarchic, absurd, adult-only dark comedy mash-up from the people that brought you Little Women In Black, Drac & Jill, Oedipuss In Boots, Reservoir Mogs, Rocky Shock Horror, Goldilock, Stock & Three Smoking Bears and more! Come to the theatre, we’ll get together, have a few laughs…
“A madness masterclass – just what we can all use a bit of right now!”
★★★★★ Stage Talk Magazine
“This is a show that never wavers or strays for a moment from being enjoyable, humorous and brilliantly performed. Among a fine list of past end of year delights, it would be difficult to argue that this isn’t The Wardrobe Theatre’s finest yet.”
