One of Bristol’s most beloved community events, Story Slam is the place to hear and share true stories live on stage
Hosted on the third Sunday of each month, Story Slam has played host to over 1,800 storytellers over the course of its history, and celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2024. Each show has its own theme and is hosted by a collection of compassionate compères who guide the audience through stories ranging from the hilarious and triumphant to the heart-breaking and tragic.
And you can now also enjoy a show spin-off, Spicy Slam. An 18+ edition of the show dedicated to sharing stories of sexual encounters of all kinds.
All stories at Story Slam are told by volunteers from the audience. Simply come along on the day and put your name in the hat for a chance to tell a story, or just come along and enjoy listening to everyone else’s.
