Join two of Bristol’s longest running and best loved live events, Milk Poetry and Chuckle Busters, for a special Easter showcase headlined by the legendary John Hegley

Kid Carpet
Bristol legend Kid Carpet is a champion of the lost and broken. An advocate for silliness, social change and for doing things differently. Like a weird mix of Ivor Cutler, Gorillaz and The Fall, his sets are a ridiculous shamanic experience with a big heart and big beats, a punk rock attitude and battery operated wonky wisdom.

George Chopping
George Chopping lives in Cornwall with his wife Rachel and his cat Badger. He currently works as a groundskeeper, and has been employed by Sainsbury’s as a shelf replenishment technician, by the Savoy Hotel as a commis waiter and by the Royal family as a footman. But his first job was doing a paper round for Mrs Munro for 6 years (1990-1996).
