An introduction to clown followed by an introduction on how to use clown as a basis of creating a solo show.
Lil Wenker is an award-winning clown from the US who’s been based in London for just over two years. She’s toured solo work in five countries and taught workshops across Europe and the US. She’s studied with Philippe Gaulier, Spy Monkey and A. de Castro, and she’s contributed to published work on clown theory in print and on radio. And yes, this is her real name! She’s born to be dum.
This workshop is for anyone who has wanted to perform a solo show, anyone stuck in the process of making a solo show, or anyone who’s just curious about the world of clown and who wants to find their fun (and repeat it!).
