The Wardrobe Theatre presents a solo show by Jesse Meadows
I remember pushing her down Portobello Road for some fresh air and going to the pub for a midday glass of wine; buying jazzy sunglasses together, browsing charity shops and listening to her stories of Siamese cats…
Wildbore is a touching one-woman show stemming from a unique cross-generational relationship. The show explores the memories of a granddaughter, and how we remember. A collaboration between Jesse Meadows and Jesse Jones, the co-Directors of The Wardrobe Theatre and The Wardrobe Ensemble.
“Charming, tender and intimate performance. Beautifully judged portrait of a grandmother-daughter relationship.”
Carrie Rhys-Davies, Tobacco Factory Theatres
“Powerful, intimate and beautiful.”
