Prepare for nautical madness as a disgraced former PM and his two cronies sail the seas in an attempt to reignite their political careers – satirically daft and set in a raft, this new comedy play by Bristol’s Mouse Mountain Ensemble is political catharsis but also a warning for the future

What A Ship Show! follows ‘Prime Minister in Exile’ Horris Franklin-Winkles, Etonian yes-man Edward Peep, and their special advisor Barty White as they flee to Guernsey. After all three were wrapped up in a tempestuous tenure leading the country, their roles  within ‘Conform GB’,  are untenable. So, on the morning following election night, as the opposition are celebrating their mandate, these three are bobbing in a dinghy. Their goal? To take over the political class of the sunny Isle of Guernsey. On their journey they encounter boats, storms and as always, squabbles. Can these three succeed at sea where they failed in cabinet? The voyage is stormy, much like their political careers.

Mouse Mountain Ensemble is an award-winning theatre company based in Bristol. Their work delves into the intricacies of societal and political systems and their impact on individuals, with a focus on audience entertainment at its core. Previous plays include: The Dawn of the Inconspicuous Himalayan Dragon and Gimme Shelter.
