A ridiculous, rambunctious afternoon of alternative comedy, clowning and games – every few months

Bristol’s clown collaboration The Lost Cabaret comes with big ideas, big experiments and big laughs to The Wardrobe Theatre every few months to take risks, embrace the ridiculous, and connect with an audience. From the visually bold and beautifully absurd, to clowning and experimental performance with humour at its heart, The Lost Cabaret invites you to join us as we follow our noses into the absurd and get lost and found and lost and found and lost again…

The Lost Cabaret is a global collective of alternative comedy makers, curious to expand the reaches of absurd and physical comedy since 2012. We run regular shows in London, Paris, Sydney, Melbourne, and NOW Bristol. We bring together exciting local acts and those from further afield for a delightful night of silliness!

Support live venues and artists. Get yourself, your best mate and your nanna a ticket! She’ll laugh till her teeth fall out.

“Brilliantly funny.”

“Sparkling with character comedy clowning, and utterly entertaining… If Lewis Carroll had smoked an especially happy pipe while sending Alice to Wonderland, he would have hoped for a result like this.”
