Join Puppet Place for a selection of weird and wonderful short puppet films from around the world at the finale screening of the Bristol 48 hour puppet film challenge

The ‘Puppet Place 48’ is a forty eight hour film challenge specifically for puppetry, brought to you by Bristol’s very own, Puppet Place. Participants have only 48 hours to create an original puppet film from scratch, racing against the clock and sleep deprivation to create original films. No one knows what the films will be until the deadline hits, all we know is that there will be puppets!

Want to take part in the Puppet Place 48 and make your own puppet film? Then head to
https://puppetplace48.co.uk or follow us on social media @puppetplace

Join us at The Wardrobe Theatre for our live finale as we screen the best of the best from this year’s challenge. With judges commentary, awards and a whole lot of puppet people, it will be a night to remember!

Puppet Place is the home for puppetry in the South West. Based in Bristol’s historic harbourside, our building at Unit 18 is packed with creative businesses and artists. Established as a charity over 40 years ago to support puppetry practitioners in the region, we are now a thriving community network. Together, we seek to innovate, research, and develop – to nurture new ideas and emerging talent – to further develop the artform of puppetry – and to engage with the public through our work.
