A brand new play from Cherish The Orange, an exciting new theatre company made up of members who met at Bristol University, that explores university life through the world of football

‘I think to myself – yes, we are real – we have been on a pitch for the last two hours – running and sweating and shouting and I am human and alive and there is life in me. I always feel alive on the walk home from practice. And I feel alive on the pitch. I feel alive when I am next to Georgie.’

Following a sold out show in London and the Edinburgh Fringe, Cherish The Orange are back with a new play that focuses on university life through the world of sports – explored through a series of conversations held in a locker room. Kick Off celebrates the conversations and community that these teams can build.

This new play has been written by Dulcie Johnson and Tildy Paisner, who met at the University of Bristol and have written plays together since, produced by Alice Fenton, their writing aims to capture the magic in the mundane.
