Milk Poetry and Chuckle Busters join forces once again to bring trailblazing spoken word and comedy – join Georgie Jones as she launches her debut collection, And The World Spins Anyway, also featuring a Mini Milk Open Mic

Georgie Jones is a poet and performer known for her wit and warmth. Praised for her “formidable stage presence and compelling way with words” (Reviews Hub) Georgie’s work captures the exquisite messiness of modern existence and makes the chaos, somehow, feel comforting.

In her latest hour, she shares poems from her debut collection, And The World Spins Anyway. It’s a love letter to real life, however it shows up, an antidote to the highlight reel that is social media, a tribute to the unfinished, the unfiltered, the uncertain.

She can’t promise any answers, but she can make you feel a little less alone in not having them.

“Riveting, relevant, relatable poetry.”
Deborah Frances White

“Georgie Jones has an extraordinary gift.”
Beth O’Leary

“I cannot help but be mesmerised by the talent Georgie possesses.”
