Acclaimed Bristol-based storyteller, Corinne Harragin, returns to The Wardrobe Theatre with Beasts, a new collection of wild, unruly tales drawn from the darker corners of folk and fairy tradition. Expect trickery, transformation and bedevilment. Gold flames, iron sparks and shapeshifting. Cunning beasts and foolish humans. Tales where nothing is quite as it seems, and justice rarely arrives by the obvious route.
Funny and fiery, with a touch of the grotesque, Beasts explores what happens when the rules begin to break down – when disguises slip and something elemental starts to stir.
Following her year-long tour of Troubled Waters across 30 venues, culminating in a month-long run at the Scottish Storytelling Centre for Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Corinne Harragin returns to The Wardrobe Theatre with new work.
