Brand new sketch comedy from some of Bristol’s top comic minds – with sketches covering all your favourite topics: supervillains, volcanoes, bongs, influencers, gangsters, and much, much more…!

Basic Self Care is the sketch show you deserve.

In these troubling times, are you doing enough to take care of yourself? Probably not. No need to worry, we will do it for you. Join some of Bristol’s top comedic minds for an evening of top notch scripted silliness.

This show is the result of months of improvisational experimentation, where our performers – some of Bristol’s top improvisers – worked together with a separate team of sketch writers to create and refine these outrageous scenes. Using techniques honed through countless workshops, we’ve crafted a unique blend of spontaneity and precision that’ll keep you guessing (and laughing) all night long.

Praise for the cast of Basic Self Care:

“An absolute riot! …I actually thought I was going to hyperventilate, just remembering it makes me laugh. It was so funny. Far too wonderful.”
Elaine Paige, BBC Radio 2 on Cat! The Play

“The ensemble perform confidently, wrangling the uncertainty of spontaneity into a cohesive plot, all whilst creating genuine laugh-out-loud moments.”
Everyday Magazine on Tales From The Wasteland

“The pay offs are incredible… A crescendo of hilarity.”
Epigram on What’s Your Star Sign?
