Celebrating 10 Years in Old Market
The Wardrobe Theatre’s brand new Jan–Apr 2026 brochure is out now, marking a very special moment for us – a decade in Old Market. What started as a DIY dream with mismatched chairs and borrowed tools has grown into Bristol’s leading fringe theatre, and this season is a joyful celebration of everything we’ve built together.
Packed with bold ideas, belly laughs, beautiful stories and fearless creativity, the new season brings together award-winning artists, emerging voices, cult favourites and unforgettable family shows – all in the heart of Bristol.
What’s On This Season?
Highlights from January to April 2026 include:
- A packed comedy programme with Stevie Martin, Desiree Burch, Daliso Chaponda, Phil Ellis, Sam Nicoresti, Lily Phillips, Joe Kent-Walters and many more
- Powerful and playful theatre including The City for Incurable Women, Stampin’ in the Graveyard, Kick Off, and Squidge
- Joyful family shows throughout school holidays, from Tiny Planet and The Mexico Mission! to MakeBeth and The Ultimate Bubble Show
- Live music, spoken word and poetry from artists including Luke Wright, Georgie Jones, Clare Murphy, and Milk Poetry
- Drag, cabaret and LGBTQ+ nights with Out Of The Wardrobe, Lash Stackers Social Club, and Party Girl Productions

- Closer Each Day: The Improvised Soap Opera
- Story Slam and adults-only Spicy Slam
