Season 33 Ep 3 – “Keep Your Feet On The Ground and Reach For The Cliff”
Monday 12th October 2026
It has now been three months since Constance Sugar and Simpkins pushed anyone blocking their political ambitions off the Newtown cliffs. Everyone survived but they are still trapped on the beach – apart from Dr Aaron Tempest who has disappeared, Rev Peter Knight who tried to swim for it and Roy Keen who set out on a lilo, with an effigy of his son made from a spoon, and who has been swept away by the Newtown tide.
Vicky Enhwhistle is still looking for Aaron and has the Police reviewing CCTV footage of the day he went missing. She tells her “friend” Constance that they are also investigating messages Krissie Johnson sent on the day she disappeared. Realising she had sent messages to Krissie to meet her on the cliffs, Constance gets some hacker friends to wipe the records. Relieved, Constance and Simpkins think they are in the clear…but has Vicky got wind of something suspicious about them?
Alistair Bagworth tells Vicky that Constance isn’t to be trusted but a shocked Vicky is still loyal and slaps him. His employer Alex Ledecky, who has spent the day playing Pokemon, tells Alistair that he has a slappable face and slaps him too. Enraged Alistair threatens to sue Alex…who immediately calls Alistair’s estranged father…!
At the bottom of the cliffs, Jannelle Pollock and Tracey Fish have had enough and build a raft from empty bottles to escape…
…while Big Dick Johnson and ex-wife Krissie are still trying to climb the cliffs but have started arguing. Suddenly Roy is washed back onto the beach by the tide. They team up and stand on each others shoulders to climb the cliff. Using Roy’s spoon as an anchor they finally reach the top…only to see Jannelle and Tracey out to sea and about to sink in the riptide!
