Season 32 Ep 8 – “Two Bombs are Better Than One”
Monday 20th April 2026
Jannelle Pollock finds herself drinking at 10am and can’t work out why she’s feeling down. She realises that it’s Simpkins who’s upsetting her, and Simpkins is quite pleased to learn he has that effect on people!
Krissie Johnson is helping dance instructor Debbie Evans to motivate her dance class. They diagnose the problem – Debbie herself needs to recapture her confidence and does so with an impromptu performance in the Newtown Aldi.
Dr Aaron Tempest is overworked and decides to reduce his hours and spend more time with fiancée Vicki Entwhistle. A few hours later they are already getting on each other’s nerves and Aaron is desperate to get back to work.
Football manager Roy Keen is reunited with his errant partner Tracey Fish and their baby Derren. Tracey agrees to help Roy with his political campaign to oust corrupt MP Constance Sugar.
Constance wants to stop this and enlists Big Dick Johnson to “get rid” of Roy. But Dick is conflicted as Roy asked him to be his campaign manager. Simpkins offers to help demotivate Roy in the same way he did to Jannelle…
Dick accidently sets off a bomb intended for Roy, whilst Simpkins and Roy are together. Constance saves the day by catching them in time and throwing the bomb in the sea.
Unfortunately, Dick has planted two bombs and the second one goes off…somewhere in Newtown…!
