Season 30 Ep 4– “New Beginnings, New Endings”
Monday 10th February 2025
It’s Contance and Simpkins’ wedding day, at the 250 Club in London, and the people of
Newtown are invited. Constance insists it’s a sexy wedding and makes ex-nun Lady Safron
wear a very revealing purple dress.
Simpkins however, believes he can’t marry Constance as he is now a pauper. Blackmailed
by Dotty due to his not having a hotel license he has signed over everything – the hotel, his
money even his watch – to her. Dotty is still going to the wedding and wears a white “fairy
gown” that looks just like a wedding dress.
Vicky still thinks it’s 1999. Ex-husband Aaron is desperate to prevent her from remembering
and revealing he has been struck off as a doctor. But, falling in love with her again, he asks
her to marry him and tries to get her to sign a prenup contract to cover his back. Dick gets
Vicky to sign on the provision that Aaron helps the Johnson family out. If Simpkins doesn’t
turn up then Aaron should stand in and marry Constance!
Believing Gina to be dead, Candi, AJ and baby AJ Johnson Jr have sneaked back to
Newtown to pay tribute to her. AJ however, says they need to split up as he is a fugitive and
Candi gets on a bus to leave Newtown, not realising this is the bus to the wedding. On
board, she is reunited with Gina! Gina tells a confused Vicky that it’s actually 2025 and that
Aaron has lied to her.
As ring bearer Roy needs a cushion to present the ring. Alex helps him find one, braving the
creepy café storage room, but they miss the bus to the wedding. They decide instead to run!
Fred discovers that Dotty has a dark secret – she went to Oxford Brookes University – and
she obtained her castle illegally. Armed with this Simpkins reclaims the hotel and gets to the
venue, just in time to marry Constance. Constance and Simpkins say, “I do” and they head
off to a honeymoon…in Bournemouth. But not before Roy beats Dotty to catch the bouquet.
Gina and Candi decide to make a break and head off to be reunited with AJ in
Mediterranean at Fred’s villa. Back in Newtown the people have had enough of Dotty and
she is forced to leave town.
