In the seemingly idyllic English countryside, a dark force is stirring. Threatening to destroy the very fabric of society, a vicious crime wave spreads throughout the animal kingdom. As the mystery of who, or what is responsible for the carnage spirals out of control, the job will fall to a seasoned and deeply flawed Vet Detective. With their unique set of skills, being both a veterinarian AND a detective, our grizzled, complex, alcoholic but brilliantly minded hero must overcome the deadliest of obstacles and the most compelling of mysteries to solve the case and restore the peace.

Following its debut run in 2019, Bad Vs Evil bring Vet. Detective back home for a triumphant return. Vet Detective is a parody of Luther, Broadchurch and All Creatures Great & Small, featuring the comedic chemistry of Harry Humberstone and Lotte Allan, aka Harry and Barry from The Wardrobe Theatre’s Goldilock, Stock & Three Smoking Bears, expect plenty of physical comedy, quick wit, puppetry, action, and much more.

Bad Vs Evil are made up of Harry Humberstone and Andrew Kingston, following their run of Kirk Vs Ming at Tobacco Factory Theatres, are delighted to return to The Wardrobe Theatre and to revisit and refine their first show.
