Have you ever asked your mum what her first time was like? Or tried to understand your daughter’s drunken antics?
Let’s bring it all out into the open. Told using live music and verbatim words, Bullet Theatre recount the highs, lows, and all the gory, embarrassing and sometimes hilarious bits in between of growing up as a female, told from the perspective of two different generations. Music can play a pivotal role in influencing our experiences and shaping our memories – let the tunes of Radio Eve fill you with nostalgia of your own tales of your pubescent years. Comprised of entirely true, word-for-word accounts from first-hand interviews.
Bullet Theatre is a Bristol-based company founded by three women. Connecting media headlines to diary scribbles, their work boldly and unashamedly explores the experience of being female. Following the success of their debut production, FREAK, which had 5-star sell-out runs in Bristol, Edinburgh and London, Bullet Theatre now bring you their new original gig-theatre production, Radio Eve.
“A crescendo of human impulses and societal influences.”
