Chuckle Busters Edinburgh Previews: Catch two excellent comedians each night before they take their new material to the Fringe

12th Jul
8pm | £9

It’s the build up to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017 and the UK’s finest comedy talent are coming to The Wardrobe Theatre to road test their shows ahead of the world’s largest arts festival. Each night will feature two full length performances from some of the top comedians in the country for just £9.

Between moving to a new city, starting a new career and gaining new responsibilities, Kwame has had to embrace a lot of changes. He’s been doing his best to process it all, but could do with your help! This debut show sees him work through a collection of his best observations and anecdotes from his recent transitions. Listeners, nodders, smilers and laughers, all will be welcomed with open arms!

Betts is back, but he’s got a problem. What do you do when you can’t trust the law, the elderly or even yourself? Join him for a hilarious dissemination of human nature, featuring crooked cops and superstitious children. This occasionally edgy but always hysterical Canadian jokesmith with a gift for ‘drolly original reasoning’ and ‘zinging turn of phrase’ (Scotsman) is a must-see.

“Betts’s rigorous curiosity and lively imagination make him one of the most exciting acts around.” Daily Telegraph
